A first in over 50 years
The central vacuum finally goes inside the wall.
For more than 50 years, a central vacuum has meant a big canister hanging in the garage or basement. The InterVac Pro is the first real change to how a central vacuum installs in all that time.
It can recess into a standard 2x4 stud wall: 3 7/8 in. of the unit sits inside the wall, leaving less than 4 in. in the room. There's no bulky canister taking up floor or wall space, so the Pro can go in a hall closet, mudroom or finished basement and keep the room looking clean.
Recessing is an option, not a requirement. The Pro also ships with a bracket to hang on the wall surface, at under 8 in. deep.
About the Pro Surface Mount
The InterVac Pro is the whole-house unit. 660 air watts, a 2-gallon bag and HEPA-type filtration, rated for homes up to 3,000 sq ft. The surface-mount install uses the bracket that ships in the box: the unit hangs on the face of a garage, basement or utility-room wall with an overall depth under 8 inches.
