Central Vacuum USAby InterVac

Plan your central vacuum

Upload your floor plans, a 3D model or a phone scan of your home. Mark where the vacuum goes and where you want inlets and VacPorts. We'll route the pipe, count the fittings and tell you which vacuum fits, or whether you need two.

Your plans never leave your device. Everything is worked out right here in your browser.

3Your plans

We check for a verified floor plan first. If none is indexed, we look up the property facts and roof outline. A roof outline does not include interior rooms.

Have a listing or floor-plan link?

We will show available images so you can choose your floor plan. If the link cannot be read, upload a saved plan below.

Or upload your plans

Start on the rightPick new build or retrofit, then upload a plan, a 3D model or a phone scan.
No plans? Choose “sketch on a grid”.

4Place your parts

Use the toolbar: Set scale first (click both ends of a wall you know the length of), then place the vacuum, the inlets and the VacPorts. The shaded circles show the reach of a 35+ ft hose.

5Our recommendation

Place a vacuum and at least one inlet to see it.

6Parts estimate

Color applies to the VacPorts and to the Mini Pro or UltraVac trim. Inlet valves ship in the finish shown on each valve above.

Your parts list appears here.

The schematic is a multi-page package for your architect, builder or inspector: the plan with the pipe route and numbered devices, a device schedule, the pipe runs, install notes and the full bill of materials. Choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.

“Send my parts list to checkout” sends the whole list to your intervacdesign.com cart in one step. Built-to-order and quoted items are emailed instead. This is an estimate. Quantities are editable. A sharp-eyed installer may find a shorter route.

7Find someone to install it

Hand your schematic to a local pro. Enter your ZIP code or address and we'll look up installers near you.

Installers are spread thin in most areas. Widen the radius if nothing comes up; many will travel for a full install.
